Contract and Freelance Opportunities

By submitting an application for any contract or freelance position at Optume, you hereby agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Consent for Public Listing: If you are hired or shortlisted to work with Optume, you grant us permission to list your name, role, and a brief description on our official website, sales pitch decks, and other promotional materials. This listing may include a link to your professional portfolio if applicable. You acknowledge and agree that this listing serves to showcase your association with Optume and the work you contribute to our projects.
  2. Portfolio Usage for Sales and Promotion: You acknowledge that any work samples, portfolio items, or creative content submitted by you as part of your application may be used for sales and promotional purposes by Optume. This includes showcasing your work to potential clients and prospects as examples of the quality and expertise of our team members. Rest assured, we will ensure proper attribution and recognition of your work.
  3. Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA): If selected to work on specific projects, you may be required to sign a separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) that outlines confidentiality terms regarding client information, proprietary data, and project details. You agree to uphold the confidentiality of sensitive information and not to disclose any confidential materials to third parties.
  4. Independent Contractor Relationship: Any engagement as a contractor or freelancer with Optume is on an independent contractor basis. This relationship does not constitute an employment relationship, and you will be responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and other legal obligations.
  5. Payment and Compensation: Compensation terms will be outlined in the project agreement or contract. You agree to adhere to the payment schedule and terms set forth in the contract and acknowledge that timely and accurate invoicing is essential for proper payment processing.
  6. Intellectual Property: Any work, intellectual property, or creative content developed by you during the course of your engagement with Optume shall be the exclusive property of Optume or the respective client, as determined by the project agreement or contract. However, subject to the terms of this agreement, you retain the right to showcase the work completed as part of your portfolio for personal promotion and professional development.
    You may display and discuss the work completed for Optume in your portfolio, website, or promotional materials, provided that you do not disclose the name of the client or any sensitive project details. The purpose of showcasing such work is to highlight your skills and expertise without compromising the confidentiality and privacy of our clients.
  7. Termination of Engagement: Either party reserves the right to terminate the engagement at any time, as outlined in the project agreement or contract. Upon termination, you agree to promptly return any materials, resources, or information provided by Optume.
  8. Modification of Terms: These terms and conditions are subject to change at the discretion of Optume. Any changes will be communicated to you in writing.
  9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Gurgaon, Haryana, India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gurgaon, Haryana, India.
